My Story
My name is Rena Mahajan, I have been married to my childhood sweetheart for the last 10 years and together we have 3 beautiful daughters. I grew up in Oregon and moved to Chicagoland 13 years ago. I am a twin who has always found joy and cooking and baking, my sister used to film me in the kitchen and now I do the same with my girls. I film them baking and we have our own YouTube and instagram channel delivering our favorite recipes. I am a huge health nut and exercise enthusiast and I really developed a love for sourdough about 3 years ago when I learned of all the health benefits. (improved digestion, lower glycemic index, antioxidant properties, nutrient content, reduced risk of chronic disease, improve gut health, lower blood sugar, and its pure deliciousness)! Because of this, we have made it a staple in our home! My father always said, "Do what you love and you'll never work another day in your life". my love is making sourdough and building a sense of community. With your help in supporting local businesses I want to share my love, passion, and health appreciation with all of you. My goal is to make this micro bakery my full time career!
